KLM - Augmented Fire TrainingKLM offered a case to improve their current virtual reality training for a Li-ion battery fire. A choice for augmented reality was made instead of virtual reality. As this offered the partcicipants a chance to face the situation in a realistic setting while being able to use their hands and perform the actual actions necessary to control the situation.
The augmented reality solution work with a HTC Vive, Unity and custom markers. |
